why is it so easy to make things that you think people will love, and so hard to get people to buy them?
what's the secret, i'd love to know...anyone?
it must take more patience than i've got.

i did sell 4 rings today!
that's pretty exciting, i have to admit..
it feels good to be appreciated.

it was jeremey's birthday on wednesday. since i had to work early in the morning, i thought i'd surprise him with a chair 'o' goodies.

I've pretty much gone ring making crazy. they're so fun to make! i can't stop.

i'm thinking of bringing them into work to sell. i can't sell them online because they're not true sizes. you have to try 'em on to see it they fit.
investing in a ring sizer seems like a good idea a this point.

last weekend, it was my parents' 36th wedding anniversary. i made them dinner.
here's what i made them.

yuuuummmmmm. best chocolate torte...ever. i can't explain to you how good/easy this was.

we went to the museum of fine arts to see Warhol LIVE! it was pretty amazing.

it's friday!
which means tomorrow is saturday and that's the day some friends and i go to montreal for the night!
it's been a long time coming and i think it'll be good for all of us to get away (even if it is just a one night sleepover) from our boys...

i'm excited.

it's now time for me to panic and say 'i have nothing to wear, i hate my clothes'

i dyed my hair blonde again. not for this occasion per se, but, just because i found the red to be a very difficult colour to keep nice. with bleach, you can't go wrong in the long run. simply use a really god conditioner and don't fuss with it too much :) i had forgotten how hard it is to erase colours from your hair. it's impossible to get the red out..and i look like a yellow haired freak cuz it's so brassy right now.. eech. i want to do it one more time, but i'm scared that it will get too damaged and that's not pretty.

friday is also indian food for lunch!! it's become sort of a ritual since mid summer, i still salivate thinking about it.

butter chicken, chicken qorma, naan, chicken samosas with mint chutney, basmati rice, riata salad, beef vindaloo, balti paneer

we also went to a little hole in the wall little mom and pop place, this week.. Ye Olde Fish and Chip shop. i couldn't resist. somebody out of the place with a tray laden with steak and mushroom pie, peas and old fashioned chips! we had to go in. i had the latter and jer had a hot turkey. it tasted like christmas! heaven. can't wait to go for yorkshire pudding someday!
